Bypassing the 'I've been drawing all my life' bumph (I have, but prefer to keep things pretty recent), here's a little bit about me and where I came from. After leaving university with a degree in illustration in 2001, my regular slot drawing celebs for the student newspaper put me in good stead for my next move - drawing live theme park caricatures. Undertaking four consecutive summers at Alton Towers, I gained invaluable experience in working with the general public as well as boosting my drawing chops into the bargain. Afterwards, I returned to my home town of Newcastle upon Tyne and switched my focus to commission work, character design and live event caricatures. I also began to work increasingly in Photoshop, a tool which has become invaluable and affords me endless possibilities in my work.

Along the way I've appeared as a guest on TV's 'The Paul O'Grady Show' (where I presented a customised caricature to the man himself live on primetime TV), at the Everton FC Player Awards ceremony 2006, and on Celebrity Cruise lines in Scandinavia and the Mediterranean. I'm a professional member of the National Caricaturist Network (NCN), an international organization that holds an annual convention in the USA as well as smaller versions around the world. Hundreds of awesome artists attend these events, and I've won several prestigious awards for my artwork:

My goals for the future are pretty simple: to keep on having fun with what I do, keep nailing those likenesses, and to bring fun, laughter and great quality artwork to all who seek me out. A pad in the country with a pinball room and a live-in arrangement with Girls Aloud would be pretty cool too.
